Since working for SMILE there hasn’t been a day where I haven’t wanted to come to work. It’s the first company that has welcomed me with open arms, it’s the only job where I have been able to have work balance as well as family balance.

It’s a company that takes care of you and is always there for you to listen and take your problems on board and to give you help and assist you in being the best that you can be.

After starting in 2018, I never imagined I’d have made a career out of fundraising but 5 years down the line I’m now field manager of our Newcastle office and the support to get me to get this point has been second to none. As I have risen through the ranks it has genuinely felt like management were in my corner every day I came to work which made for a great atmosphere and office culture.

It’s a friendly environment, very supportive and the management are keen for everyone to do well. The support I’ve had has been so beneficial to help me have a great career at Smile.

I enjoy coming to work every day because SMILE has giving me a great work / home life balance. I work with bright and hard working people in a fast paced environment. The work is live and challenging, but keeps me engaged. Overall, it’s a great place to work and I’m excited for the the growth of the company.

Genuinely never had a more seamless transition into a new job. By the end of day 1 I knew I was going to be smiling for the long haul!

Working in the Newcastle office is a great environment. The managers are helpful and super approachable. The managers have a wealth of knowledge and support the team to get the most out of us.

After previously working in the industry, I was amazed with how friendly and kind the staff are, I always enjoy coming into the office in the mornings as it always puts a smile on my face! The friendships and bonds I've made are everlasting!

After over 6 years working with the company I have seen how much growth there has been not only in myself but also the company. I value all the support I have been given from all the staff who have worked here. I have so many amazing stories In the ways of friendships and experiences I have gathered in my time with SMILE. I am forever growing with the company and cant wait to be here for many more years to come

I have worked for Smile Fundraising for just over a year now doing thank you calls for a number of different charities. Within this time I feel like I have grew as a person, met a wide range of wonderful different people from different walks of life and had the pleasure of speaking to valued supporters on the phone. I’ve never worked for a company that values their employees as much as SMILE, every day I feel comfortable and relaxed coming into work being able to do the job I love whilst being surrounded by hardworking and joyful colleagues.

Being a part of this organization has been a truly rewarding and life-changing journey.

From the moment I joined SMILE in June 2021, I was inspired by the dedication and passion exhibited by every member of the team. The organization's mission to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need resonated deeply with my personal values, and I felt privileged to contribute to such a noble cause.
